Visit from the Charleston Symphony Woodwind Quintet

A quintet from the Charleston Symphony Orchestra visited our school in November 2022. We delighted in listening to the beautiful sounds of their music and in the underlying message of how important working together and each member of a group is to the overall whole. We learn from everywhere!

International Food Festival

Our community gathered together for an afternoon of amazing food and fun.

We have a diverse student body and are so fortunate to have so many great cooks to prepare meals from their cultures: Vietnamese, El Salvadorian, Philippine, Irish, German, and Mexican to name a few.

Berkeley County Sheriff

Our K3, K4, and K5 classes were made honorary sheriff deputies by the Berkeley County Sheriffs Office. Thank you to the Woodall Family and the Berkeley County Sheriffs and K-9s for coming out to teach us about safety and community stewardship. We love that our school families lead by example and play such an important role in our community.

Old Santee Canal Park Visit

Super fun visit with reptiles and insects from Old Santee Canal Park. Our preschoolers were able to handle and learn about these native species. We also learned about ecosystems. Thanks for bringing this educational experience to our backyard!

Veterans Day .jpeg

Veterans Day

Our Middle School students interviewed our own veterans about their military service, as we have many parents and mentors among us who have served or are currently serving in the military. Our guests then visited the Lower School classrooms to read patriotic books with those students.
As part of our promise to be active and loving citizens, we raised money for the Buddy Poppy program and submitted essays to a VFW essay contest.
